Lahore (IP) - A big rally was held in Lahore, the capital of Pakistan's Punjab province, in support of Palestine and Lebanon, on the occasion of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood.

Iran Press/Asia: Monday, October 7, was the first anniversary of the unique Operation Al-Aqsa Flood carried out by the Hamas Palestinian resistance movement and about 200 Zionists were taken captive in response to the regime's more than 7 decades of invading Palestine. Yet, the Israeli regime began an all-out war on the Gaza Strip which led to the massacre of more than 41,000 people.

Allama Sayyed Jawad Naqvi, head of Tehreek Bidarai Ummah of Mustafa, led the march while thousands of citizens participated holding the Palestinian, Lebanese, and Hezbollah flags along with pictures of Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Khamenei and Martyr Hassan Nasrallah.

Addressing the occasion, Allama Syed Jawad Naqvi said that "Operation Al-Aqsa Flood" rubbed the nose of the Zionist state claiming superiority in the military area, despite the worst war crimes, the illegitimate Zionist regime declared that not a single goal has been achieved.

He said: "Turning the Zionist state into a peaceful and normal state in the region is one of the US' goals that's why the US has cooperated with the Zionists to achieve Americans own goals".
Addressing the participants of the rally, other speakers said that the Islamic resistance has united the whole world with Palestine.

They said that today Imam Khomeini's concept of international harmony and resistance based on al-Quds as the axis has become a reality and that the Islamic resistance, Hezbollah and Hamas have been successful in all their goals and objectives.

They said that the US hands were stained with the blood of the oppressed, the children, the patients, and the women because it guides the crimes that are being committed by the Israeli regime in Gaza, so every action taken by the resistance is in fact a fight against the greater Satan.

Men and women, children, scholars, and people associated with different schools of thought and different walks of life participated in the march to mark the first anniversary of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood.
