Tehran (IP) - The National Security Adviser of Iraq met with IRGC Commander in Tehran and discussed the security agreement between Iran and Iraq.

Iran Press/Iran news: Iraqi National Security Adviser Qassem Al-Aarji, following his meetings with Iranian officials in Tehran, met with Major General Hossein Salami, Commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), on Monday.

Al-Araji and Salami reviewed the bilateral relations and the details of the joint security agreement between the two countries and the importance of border control and preventing illegal entry.

According to the statement of the National Security Adviser of Iraq, Sardar Salami praised and thanked the federal government and the Iraqi Kurdistan Regional Government for supporting the implementation of the security agreement and the High Monitoring Committee for the implementation of this agreement in Iraq.

Al-Aarji had previously met and talked with Ismaeil Qaani, commander of the Quds Force of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
In addition to meeting with Qaani, the Iraqi National Security Advisor, who arrived in Tehran on Sunday, also met and talked with Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council Ali Akbar Ahmadian. 204
