Tehran (IP) -The foreign ministry spokesman said an agreement is available, and there is no fundamental problem; the US government must decide.

Iran PressIran News: Nasser Kanani, in his weekly press conference on Wednesday and response to the Iran Press question, said: "Contrary to what the American side says regarding the Doha talks, we had effective negotiations there, and the way to continue talks is open."

Referring to the phone call made by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hossein Amir- Abdolhian, with Josep Borrell, Kanani said: "Borrell is perusing the negotiations to hold the next round of talks."

He pointed out that the basis for the agreement is ready. Still, the American government says, on the one hand, that we have the will to return to the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), and on the other hand, they do not want to pay the costs of returning to the agreement.

Kanani added: "If Americans look at the issue from the perspective of national interests and not from the point of view of the Zionist regime, the agreement is reachable."

Kanani once again emphasized the need for a verifiable guarantee from the American side and the full economic benefits of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
