Tehran (IP) - Several Afghan poets living in Iran, in a poetic circle, while condemning a Takfiri attack on three clerics in Mashhad, recited poems supporting the unity between Iran and Afghanistan.

Iran PressIran News: On the third day of the holy month of Ramadan, three clerics were stabbed in the Imam Reza's holy shrine in Mashhad, northeastern Iran. Two of the clerics were martyred, and one was injured. 

The assailant was reported to be a Takfiri element with Afghan nationality. 

The ceremony was organized by the Organization of Islamic Culture and Communication and was attended by members of the Afghan media and cultural figures.

The meeting was attended by Mohammad Mehdi Imanipour, Head of the Organization of Islamic Culture and Communication, Alireza Ghazveh, Poet, Seyed Rasul Mousavi, Assistant Minister and Director General of West Asia at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Safarkhani, Vice President for Cultural Affairs in Afghanistan.
