Kabul (IP) - The chairman of a local council in Kabul says the Afghan people appreciate Iran, particularly the families of the victims of the recent terrorist attacks.

Iran PressAsia: In an interview with Iran Press, Barat-Ali Moradi also welcomed the Taliban government's empathy with the victims' families, calling on the authorities to take extraordinary measures to ensure the security of the people. 

A terrorist blast in Abdolrahim Shahid School, west of Kabul, claimed the lives of 27 students and injured more than 100 others. 

In an interview with the news agency, the school's manager also appreciated Iran's sympathy and said the aid was a healing gift to the victims' families. 

Mohammad, the father of one of the students martyred, said after receiving the humanitarian aid that the Islamic Republic of Iran had always been standing by the Afghan nation and that the Afghan people were all appreciative of Iran.
