Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced that 64 death cases due to COVID-19 had been registered during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 132,745.

Iran Press/Iran news: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to February 05, 2022, a total number of 6,543,837 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 6,138,692 of the infected people recovered. 

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 23,130 cases, of whom 1,529 were hospitalized. 

2,282 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU). 

So far, 45,296,728 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran. 

So far, 61,056,612 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 54,447,739 have received the second dose, 19,300,345 have received the booster shot, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 134,804,696 doses.

Today, 120 cities are in the red zone,153 orange, 167 yellow, and 8 blue.
