Iran Press/Iran news: 4th National Conference on Passive Defense & Critical Infrastructure Protection held here in Tehran with the attendance of Head of Iran's Passive Defense Organization Brigadier General Gholamreza Jalali and Director general of Interior Ministry for border affairs Hossein Ghassemi.
Speaking at the conference, Ghassemi said: "This conference aims to bring provinces together, expand knowledge and science and make a connection with the public. The topic of the passive defense conferences from 1395-1398 (2015-2019) was stable development, energy, and economy. This year it is critical protection."
Meanwhile, Jalali said: "America has waged serious and hybrid war with Iran in various fields. They monitor our power and weak points, for instance, our cyberspace. They also tried to have diplomatic negotiations. After that, they asked us to give up; however, as the Leader of the Islamic Revolution stresses we take active resistance policy."
He further added: "The US allies have understood that they could not rely on the US as long as it cannot defend itself. They also understood that they could not attack Iran, this means Iran is a new power in the region. Iran's power is unique. National security means the country's security. We must defend the country and its air, land and cyber."
"In the economic section, reforms must occur to remove the problems and stabilize the market. We must also counter the corruption which fortunately the judiciary system does it perfectly. People must be organized in the cyberspace, we should not let any foreign country control our people in the cyberspace," Jalali stated.
