Iran Press/ Middle East: The statement said that "through a tactical operation based on precise information, a team of the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Unit (al-Hashd al-Sha’abi) forces in Nineveh managed to pursue ISIS terrorist gangs in the Albu Saif area."
"After monitoring their movements, a tight ambush was set up, and 4 of the terrorists were killed. The PMU also began to cordon off the area to search for the fifth terrorist element," the statement added.
Iraqi security forces and PMU have arrested a large number of ISIS leaders and elements in various security operations in recent months.
