Palestine (IP)- By carrying out 256 demolition operations, the Israeli regime destroyed 303 buildings, including industrial facilities in the West Bank and a school in Holy Quds.

Iran Press/Middle East: By building Zionist settlements and demolishing Palestinian homes, the Israeli regime is trying to change the geographical structure of the Palestinian areas and give these areas a Zionist face to consolidate its dominance in the Palestinian areas.

The Council for Combating the Construction of Occupied Settlements affiliated with the Palestine Liberation Organization announced in a report that due to 256 demolition operations of Palestinian homes by the Israeli regime, 543 people, including 272 children, have become homeless.

The Palestinian source added that these 256 destruction operations of the Israeli regime were carried out in the first six months of 2023 in the occupied West Bank and East Al-Quds.

According to the report, the Israeli regime has also sent notices for demolishing 822 buildings belonging to Palestinians under the pretext of not receiving a construction permit.

The Council for Combating the Construction of Occupied Settlements also announced that during these six months, the Zionist forces committed 4073 separate violations with the participation of the settlers, including destruction, cutting down trees, closing roads, physically harming Palestinians, and damaging their buildings.

The actions of the Israeli regime come at a time when the United Nations Security Council issued an official statement on February 20 condemning the plan of the Israeli regime to expand settlements in the occupied Palestinian lands.
