Three children are dead after a shooting in Clermont County, Ohio State, with local US media saying their father has been detained.

Iran PressAmerica: All three children died on the scene, according to the Clermont County Sheriff’s Office. The victims were brothers ages seven, four and three years old.

At the scene, officers found them suffering from gunshot wounds in the yard. Life-saving measures were performed, but all three succumbed to their injuries.

Investigators say there were no signs of forced entry in the home and there are no other suspects in the shooting.

US President Joe Biden, who is struggling with the problem of carrying firearms and increasing mass killings in this country, accused the Republicans of indifference to these deadly incidents in the United States.

He said: "Many American families have empty seats at their dinner table, and Republican members of Congress cannot be indifferent to this epidemic."
