Mashhad (IP) - The governor of Mashhad, the capital of Razavi Khorasan Province, announced the martyrdom of two Basiji forces (popular volunteer forces), also known as security defenders, in this city.

In recent days, rioters have attacked business places, banks and other public places, which were stopped by the timely presence of security forces and people.

Mohsen Delavari, governor of Mashhad, said: "2 Basiji forces were martyred by rioters' knife attack in Mashhad."

Delavari added: "Today in Mashhad's Amal Crossroad, a number of thugs and rioters planned to close down the business of this place with threats and intimidation."
