Tehran-IP: The 13th round of the National Environment Award was held on Oct. 10, 2023, with the winners being honored.

Iran PressIran news:  Attending the event, the Vice President for Women and Family Affairs said: Women have a strong and key impact in different sectors, so their role in climate change has been discussed in the UN Women's Commission and how they can be effective to keep the environment safe.

Ensieh Khazali noted that protecting the environment is a spiritual matter that calls all bodies to protect the environment.

Also, for his part, Iran's Vice President Iran and Head of Iran's Department of Environment Ali Salajeghe stated that solving an environmental crisis should be based on science so that it can be preserved principally.

Salajegheh said: "There have been good ties with neighboring countries regarding the preservation of the environment, because the discourse on environmental protection is a basic science at the international level, so counting can exchange their experiences."

He expressed hope that it would be possible to solve environmental problems and provide useful and practical approaches in the world to have a safe and protected environment.
