Iran envoy Kazem Gharibabadi speaks during a news conference after a board of governors meeting in Vienna, Austria July 10, 2019.

Iran's permanent envoy to Vienna-based international organizations said all of its nuclear activities are monitored by IAEA policing its nuclear deal with major powers, and the country has nothing to hide.

Iran Press/Iran news: Kazem Gharibabadi made the remarks on Wednesday, after US President Donald Trump once again claimed that Iran was secretly enriching uranium.

“We have nothing to hide,” Gharibabadi told reporters after an emergency meeting of the International Atomic Energy Agency’s (IAEA) 35-nation Board of Governors called by the United States.

This is while, President Donald Trump warned on Wednesday that US sanctions on Iran would be increased "substantially" soon.

Washington also used the session of the International Atomic Energy Agency’s Board of Governors to accuse Iran of extortion, but Iran's measure to enrich uranium to 4.5% purity does not encounter any safeguard- and protocol-related restrictions, and is related to the JCPOA.

Iran is reacting to harsh US economic sanctions imposed on Tehran since Donald Trump pulled Washington out of the nuclear deal in 2018.

Tehran has announced tha all its steps were reversible if Washington returned to the agreement.

However, the US, via making claims, tries to introduce Iran as the one responsible for the destruction of the JCPOA.
