Iran Press/Europe: The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) had previously declared on Monday that Iran was over the 3.67% limit.
Spokesman for Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI), Behrouz Kamalvandi said on Monday (8 July) that the new level of nuclear enrichment stands at 4.5 percent, Reuters reported.
The rise in the enrichment level is still far below the 20% Iran refined to before the nuclear accord.
Iran says it is responding to punishing economic sanctions the US has imposed on Tehran since Washington pulled out of the nuclear deal a year ago.
Also other JCPOA signatories like the three European countries ( E3 ) have failed to guarantee or protect Iran's legitimate interests as agreed in the 2015 nuclear deal. 101/211/205
