Iran Press/ Iran news: People can ski and snowboard for seven months a year, from October to May, at the Ski Resort, which is 25 kilometers from the capital.
Tochal can be reached via a four-mile journey by cable car that leaves from the northern suburbs of Tehran. At 3963m, Tochal ski resort is the fifth-highest resort in the world.
Referring to the fact that the Tochal cable car complex is active in all seasons of the year, Ruhollah Emdad told Iran Press the renovation of the recreative equipment started last year and will be completed until October of the current year.
Emdad referred to the Tochal complex as one of Iran's tourism hubs.
He added that by introducing the Tochal recreative hub to the people of Iran and other countries, an important step will be taken in strengthening the economy of the country in the tourism section.
