Iran Press/ Iran news: Attending a press conference, the head of Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, Alireza Rashidian, stated: "The organization follows policies introduced by Arbaeen Headquarters regarding the number of passengers and the ways of traveling."
Referring to Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi's trip to Iran, Rashidian noted that a statement issued after his visit to Tehran proved that Arbaeen pilgrims need to have visas, COVID-19 vaccination cards, and PCR negative tests 72 hours before the trip.
Responding to Iran Press's question about Iraqi airways, the officials recommended the Arbaeen passengers travel by Iranian airways since they have enough capacity to transfer all pilgrims.
Iraqi airways' claims on issuing visas with the ticket are rejected, and Iran is not responsible for the problems in these airlines, Alireza Rashidian concluded.
Arbaeen which falls on September 27 this year (2021) marks the 40th day since the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Hossein (PBUH), the Grandson of the Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).
