Iran Press/Iran News: Embedded in Koohrang county is the beautiful and touristy village of 'Sar Agha Seyed' also known as the 'Masouleh of Zagros' with houses built like a staircase.
Koohrang county itself, located 85 km from Shahrekord, the capital of Charmahal av Bakhtiari province in the southwest of Iran, is the source of two large rivers of "Zayanderood" and "Karun."
The beauty of the staircase-shaped village of 'Sar Agha Seyed' or the so-called 'Masouleh of Zagros' attracts many tourists in different seasons of the year.
In the way of the village also an 'Assalkeshan' neck is located in a part of which the height of snow reaches approximately 3 to 4 meters in the peak of summer heat.
Masouleh is a city in Fuman County, Gilan Province, north of Iran.
In Masouleh the courtyards of houses are the roofs of other houses on the lower tiers, thus giving a staircase shape to the city. 104/215
