Russia (IP) - Iranian film 'Kan-Pamenar' received a special award from the jury in the 5th edition of Russia's Patrikie Film Festival.

The 5th edition of the film festival, which was held in June in Moscow, introduced the winners in 5 sections, where the jury's special award went to 'Kan-Pamenar,' directed and produced by Ashkan Darvishi. 

Kan-Pamenar narrates the story of labor children living the poor quarters in downtown Tehran and supports the poor Afghan girls.  

The film was released last year in Iran and was warmly welcomed.
