Iran Press/Iran news: Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Seyyed Abbas Mousavi on Tuesday told reporters that recently within the framework of Iran's inclusive consultations with all the sides in Afghanistan, a political delegation from the Taliban traveled to Iran to discuss the latest developments in Afghanistan with the Iranian officials.
A spokesman for the Taliban's political bureau in Qatar recently announced that a delegation led by Spokesman for the Taliban Political Office Abdul Salam Hanafi traveled to Tehran to discuss Afghan peace talks with Iranian officials, Iran Press reported.
Iranian officials have repeatedly stated that the focus of Iran's efforts in Afghanistan is to establish stability and security within the Afghan government, and Tehran will not hesitate to do so.
