Iran Press/ Iran News: The farewell ceremony of Lieutenant-General Qasem Soleimani, the late commander of Quds Force of the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC), and his martyred companions is underway in Tehran; one of the world's largest funeral processions with the attendance of millions of Iranians.
Attendees chanted slogans like 'Down with America', 'Down with Israel', 'No compromise no Surrender, only war with the US' and 'What if Leader Khamenei orders a sacrifice'.
They also asked for the revenge of Lieutenant-General Soleimani and his martyred companions.
A number of ambassadors and representatives of Tehran also attended the ceremony.
The Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, on Monday, prayed over Lieutenant-General Qasem Soleimani, Deputy Chief of the Iraqi Popular Mobilization (al-Hashed al-Sha'abi) Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis and his martyred companions at the University of Tehran.
Following the prayer, the funeral procession of Martyred Gen. Soleimani was held from Enghelab Square to Azadi Square with the participation of several millions of Iranians, state officials, and military and resistance groups.
His body will be moved to the city of Qom for another procession then.
The burial ceremony of this great commander of Islam is scheduled to be held in Kerman on Tuesday. 207/201
