Iran press/Middle East: Meeting an Iranian delegation on Tuesday, the Syrian President Bashar al-Assad said Iran's lawful rights should be respected by all and that his country will fully support Iran and its leadership.
Syria’s counter-terrorism campaign, initiatives for a political solution to Syria's crisis, the next round of Syria peace talks in Kazakhstan, and the latest regional and international developments were some of the issues discussed at the meeting, Press TV reported.
The Iranian delegation underscored the deeply-rooted ties between Tehran and Damascus, emphasizing that Iran is determined to bolster such ties and will continue its support for the Syrian nation to liberate itself and reconstruct the country.
