Israeli Prime Minister claimed that the regime’s navy could take action against Iranian oil shipments.

Iran Press/Middle East: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has issued another military threat against Iran, this time claiming that the regime’s navy could take action against Iranian oil shipments.

Speaking at a graduation ceremony of Israeli navy cadets in Haifa on Wednesday, Netanyahu claimed that Iran was trying to “covertly” ship fuel over maritime routes to “circumvent” the sanctions that the US unilaterally re-imposed on its energy sector in defiance of international objections after leaving a 2015 multinational nuclear deal.

“To the extent that these attempts widen, the navy will have a more important role in blocking these Iranian actions,” Netanyahu threatened, Press TV reported.

This is while Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said on Dec. 04 that no oil will cross from the Persian Gulf if Iran is deprived of its legal right to export oil.

The Israeli premier also urged the international community to stop Iran’s attempts to circumvent the sanctions by sea, and of course, by any (other) means.

On 14 November, Iranian president, Hassan Rouhani said despite US attempts to cut-off Iran's oil exports, threatening to reduce them to zero, Tehran will continue to sell its oil to numerous buyers. 104
