Israeli soldiers stand next to the body of a Palestinian martyr

The year 2018 was a bloody year for people in Palestine, Syria and Yemen and compared to 2017, the number of martyrs have been increased.

Iran Press/ Middle East: The Zionist regime has martyred 312 Palestinians since the start of 2018.

Israeli regime killed 271 Palestinians in Gaza Strip and 42 others in the West Bank, 'Al-Quds Al-Arabi' Newspaper reported.

Among those who were killed, there are also 6 women and 57 kids. Based on the report, the number of martyrs had a four-fold increase compared to 2017.

Since the protests began on March 30, the Israeli forces have killed over 220 Palestinians in the besieged coastal enclave and wounded more than 20,000 people, according to health officials in Gaza.

But Palestine was not the only victim of the US and its western allies accompanied by Israeli regime and dictator regimes in the region. The other victims are Iraq and Syria.

The illegitimate coalition led by US acknowledged killing 1140 civilians in raids launched on Syria and Iraq since 2014.

The coalition attempted as usual to reduce the number of victims, saying in a statement published by TASS News Agency that 1139 civilians were killed “inadvertently” in the raids.

Also as Iran Press reported on Dec 01, 2018,  in 10 months between January to the end of October 2018, US dropped 5982 bombs on Afghanistan, which means nearly 20 bombs for a day, an increase of more than one-third compared to the previous year.

Also Yemeni people passed a hard year. Since March 2015, Saudi Arabia and some of its Arab allies have been launching deadly airstrikes against the Houthi Ansarullah movement in an attempt to restore power to the fugitive former president Abd Rabbuh Mansour Hadi, a close ally of Riyadh.

Nearly 14,000 Yemenis, including 5,000 women and children, have lost their lives in the deadly military campaign.105/205
