A Syrian military source affirmed that the country's air defenses intercepted hostile missiles launched by Israeli warplanes.

Iran Press/Middle East: A Syrian military source said that the hostile missiles were launched by Israeli warplanes from Lebanese airspace and Syrian air defenses downed the majority of them before they had a chance to reach their targets.

The source affirmed that damage caused by the Israeli missiles were limited to a munition warehouse and the injury of three soldiers, Iran Press reported.

Earlier, Syrian air defenses confronted a number of hostile flying objects over the countryside west of Damascus.
