The spokesman for Yemeni Armed Forces said that despite conclusion of the round of consultations in Sweden the US-Saudi fighter jets launched 18 airstrikes on the Yemeni Army sites.

Iran press/Middle East: The spokesman for Yemeni Armed Forces, Brigadier Yahya Sare'e, said on Thursday that the US-Saudi fighter jets launched 18 airstrikes on the last 24 hours with missiles and artillery shells on the Yemeni Army sites after the conclusion of the round of consultations in Sweden.

The spokesman for Yemeni Armed Forces, said that intelligence information confirms the killing of 51 and injuring 194 during the recent escalation, Iran press reported.

Brigadier Sare'e said that the Army and Popular Committees encountered a creep of the US-Saudi mercenaries since the morning and continued for hours towards the sites of Yemeni forces, killing and injuring a number of them.

He stressed that the reinforcements of the US-Saudi mercenaries continue, confirming their continued escalation and lack of seriousness in achieving peace for the Yemeni People.

The UN Secretary-General on Dec.13 announced an agreement between the Yemeni groups. Antonio Guterres said conflicting sides agreed about the port of Al-Hudaydah, the arrival of humanitarian aid to the city of Taiz and the reduction of conflicts.

Also, Yemen's Ministry of Health confirmed on Wednesday that the US-Saudi aggression, a week after the start of the Swedish consultations, is continuing to kill Yemeni People and escalating the siege.

Yemen's Ministry of Health said in a statement that the total death toll by airstrikes and artillery shells, during the period of consultations, reached 15 citizens (7 children and 3 women) while 23 others get injured (8 children and 5 women).

It pointed out that the attacks expresses the unwillingness of these countries to stop the bloodshed and alleviate the suffering of the people of Yemen, which exposes the reality of these countries' goals in their aggression against Yemen.

Yemen's Ministry of Health condemned this great disregard for Yemeni blood by the countries of the aggression calling on the international community to deal seriously and firmly with these countries.Since March 2015, Saudi Arabia and some of its Arab allies have been carrying out deadly airstrikes against the Ansarullah movement in an attempt to restore power to fugitive former President Abd Rabbuh Mansour Hadi, a close ally of Riyadh.

Despite nearly four years of military aggression, and the use of advanced American weaponry, and full military and logistic support from Washington, Saudi Arabia and its allies have not been successful militarily. The Saudi-UAE coalition has been unable to conquer the key port city of Hudaydah, despite a green light from the Americans, and despite the use of all military power at its disposal. In the end, the Saudis were forced to sit round the negotiating table.

Following the peace negotiations in Sweden, and an agreed halt to all military operations in Hudaydah, ships are now able to dock in Hudaydah port, delivering much-needed food, medicines, and other essential items. This represents a huge victory for the Houthi Ansarullah movement of Yemen, and a resounding humiliating defeat for the Saudi-UAE coalition.

Over 14,000 Yemenis, including thousands of women and children, have lost their lives in the Saudi deadly military campaign and International pressure has been mounting to halt the war.

The last round of talks, hosted by Kuwait in 2016, collapsed after more than three months of negotiations with no breakthrough.
