A Saudi warplane late on Thursday was downed in Saada province in northern Yemen.

The Saudi-led coalition confirmed crash of one of the Tornado fighters belonging to Saudi Air Force.

The two pilots of the fighter survived the crash without suffering any injury.

Panavia Tornado is a twin-engine and multipurpose fighter made by a consortium of three countries of Britain, Italy and Germany.

Lasy week, at least ten civilians were killed and injured in Saudi air attacks on Taiz province in southwestern Yemen.

Saudi Arabia and its regional allies attacked Yemen in March 2015 to bring back to power the deposed president of the country, Abdrabbuh Mansour Hadi.

The Saudi aggressors have committed horrible war crimes against Yemeni civilians during the past three years.

The United Nations says 10,000 people have died in the three-year-old war, and three out of four Yemenis — 22 million civilians — need relief aid.
