Military attack drones operated by the Yemeni Army and Popular Committees for the first time have successfully bombarded a US and Saudi military command headquarters in Aden.

Yemen's Almasirah news network wrote on its website on Thursday that the attack, conducted following a thorough reconnaissance operation, succeeded in demolishing all the pre-determined targets in the Al-Bariqa military base in the port city of Aden.

Recently, Yemeni army launched military operations on Saudi troops in border fronts of Najran, Asir and Jizan Saudi provinces, inflicting them heavy losses in lives and equipment.

A military source told Almasirah that the attack by the Yemeni drones will disable mobilization of enemy forces in the following days.

The Yemeni Army and Popular Committees had published aerial images taken by their drones on Monday last week, showing military centers of the so-called coalition forces in Yemen's western coasts.

A number of Arab states created a military coalition under leadership of Saudi Arabia since March 27, 2015 claiming support for resigned president of Yemen.
