Iran Press/Iran news: Rear Admiral Ali Fadavi has emphasized that in line with orders of the late Imam Khomeini and the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, we have staunchly and forthrightly confronted the US fort he past 40 years.
Speaking in Meybod in Yazd province in central Iran, at a special ceremony commemorating the martyrs of the Islamic revolution, the second-in-command of the IRGC, said "the confrontation between Iran and the US has grown steadily with the passage of time, never really dying down. (With God's grace) the American's have suffered a string of defeats in their confrontation with Iran. The Islamic Republic has reached its 40th year with authority and influence."

The Rear Admiral added: "Many countries don't even dare or think of taking on the United States, but the Islamic Republic has confronted the arrogant powers, and the United States successfully, in all areas of this multi-faceted confrontation."

"The power and authority of Iran stems from the Islamic revolution, and by the grace of the Almighty we have achieved these victories," Rear Admiral Fadavi noted.

The second-in-command of the IRGC went on to stress that the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps and Basij volunteer forces are more prepared and more determined than ever before to stand up to the arrogant powers.
