Iranian Foreign Minister said that Israeli Prime Minister and their enabler in the White House, will continue to drag the US to wars.

Iran Press/Iran news: "Even the US Congress wants to put an end to @CENTCOM's destabilizing activities in #Yemen," Mohammad Javad  Zarif said in a Twitter post on Wednesday, referring to Congressional bill that ask to end US support for the Saudi-led war in Yemen.

"But petrofinanced #NetanyahuFirsters and their enabler in the White House will continue—with American lives and against US interests—to push for forever wars," he added according to Iran Press.

US Congress voted for the first time to invoke the War Powers Resolution to try and stop US involvement in a foreign conflict including Yemen War.

But US president Donald Trump vetoed the measure on Wednesday with the Congress lacking the votes to override him.

The legislation was originally introduced in the Senate and co-sponsored by presidential candidate Senator Bernie Sanders, invoking the War Powers resolution, a federal law that gives Congress the power to check the American head of state when committing the country to an armed conflict.

Since 2015, the US has provided the aerial refuelling of jets, reconnaissance, targeting and intelligence information to Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, in their campaign against Yemeni people.

According to a new report by the Armed Conflict Location and Event Data Project (ACLED), a nonprofit conflict-research organization, the Saudi-led war has so far claimed the lives of about 56,000 Yemenis.

The Saudi-led war has also taken a heavy toll on the country’s infrastructure, destroying hospitals, schools, and factories. 101
