Tehran (IP) - Representatives referred the election amending law to the Internal Affairs Commission of the parliament for further examination and resolution.

Iran Press/Iran news: In the open session of Majlis on Sunday during the review of referral report of the Commission for Internal Affairs and the Councils on the urgent reform on the Majlis election law, the bill was approved by 131 votes in favor, 31 against and 2 abstentions from a total of 197 deputies present in the Majlis.

MPs agreed to refer the case to the Internal Affairs Commission of the parliament for further consideration.

The Speaker of the Parliament Ali Larijani said that to align the plan and also, to resolve some of the issues, it is imperative that the Commission once again examine this matter so that parliamentarians can fully decide this issue. 208/211/103
