Tehran (IP) - Iranian parliamentarians, whilst agreeing to some of the deficiencies in 1398 budget bill raised by the Guardian Council, revised several of its resolutions.

Iran Press/Iran news: Representatives agreed to revise note (z) article (6) with 189 votes in favour, 7 against and 2 abstentions from a total of 223 MPs present in the Majlis open session on Sunday, according to an Iran Press report.

The executive regulation of this note, including the amount of goods tax, the list of eligible goods, the cost of the waste management of goods and the implementation process, are proposed and codified by the joint organization of the Environmental Protection Agency, the interior, industry, mines and trade ministries, as well as economic affairs and finance organization, and the country's planning and budget organization and will be approved by Cabinet Ministers.

MPs vote to ban advertising for parliamentary candidates through official media

MPs banned all advertising activities in favor of or against the candidates for parliamentary elections through IRIB (Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting) and the place of prayers as well as meetings, gatherings, ceremonies, and any other official and governmental places.

Conditions determined for establishing electoral campaign headquarters

MPs also outlined the conditions for establishment of the main and secondary election campaign chambers by prospective candidates for the Majlis.

The plan was approved by 132 votes in favour, 26 against and 1 abstention from a total of 203 deputies present at the time of voting.
