Iran Press /Iran news: Iranian Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani said that the United States may seem to wage security, political and economic war against Iran, but most importantly, they target religious foundations in Iran, and this is a form of adventurism.
Iranian Parliament Speaker made the remark on the occasion of the uprising of the people of Qom against the Pahlavi regime on 9 January 1978, on Wednesday prior to a public session in the Iranian parliament, Iran Press reported.
In further remarks, Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani said: "In this respect, despite all the economic pressures, Iranian people due to their Islamic culture will never lose their great heritage and resist against all sanctions and difficulties imposed by the US to protect their religion." 101/ 211 / 201
