Iranian MP and member of Parliament's health commission, Ahmad Hemmati said that Iranian health system has a good capacity to attract medical tourists.

Iran Press/Iran news: Ahmad Hemmati in an exclusive interview with Iran Press noted that Iranian health establishment progress successfully in past 40 years after Islamic revolution victory, and Iran is 5 years ahead of global health index set up 40 years ago in Kazakhstan 'Almaty health summit'.

"life expectancy in past 4 decades in Iran has increased 20 years and it is a sign of success for Iran medical system and Islamic establishment," Member of Iranian Parliament health commission said.

Stressing on progress of Iranian health system, Hemmati added, "Medical tourism is a good opportunity for country, both for Iranian physicians who could show their skill in the international level and also to show Iran's history and culture to the world."

Member of Iranian Parliament health commission noted that medical tourism would be very effective to increase the number of tourists who travel to Iran and help expansion of Iranian tourism industry. 101/205
