Iran Press/Iran news: Iran's Minister of Science, Research and Technology Mansour Gholami said according to international statistics in 2017, Iran ranked 16th in scientific production in the world, and ranked 1st in term of the growth rate speed of scientific production in the world.
Iran's Minister of Science, Research and Technology made the remarks at 19th exhibition of research and technological achievements, Iran Press reported.
"In terms of scientific production in the world, China and Russia stand in the list after Iran. Iranian universities have a great potential in scientific zone," Mansour Gholami noted.
The minister also called on the internal producers and all the people who are active in Iran's industry to trust scientific system of the country. Mansour Gholami also asked them to come forward and see the collaboration of Iran's government and the scientific system of the country.
The 19th exhibition of research and technology achievements and the sixth exhibition of laboratory equipment and materials were opened on Monday by Iran's Minister of Science, Research and Technology, Mansour Gholami and Defense Minister Brigadier General Amir Hatami with the presence of knowledge-based companies' officials and domestic manufacturers. 101/201
