Iran Press/Iran news: In an exclusive interview with Iran Press News Agency on Saturday, Iran's deputy minister of science, research and technology Masoud Boroumand said: "We need international contacts, we need to interact with the world in science and technology, and our students must be given the chance to experience some part of their education abroad.
"The most important point here is that, once they graduate from a foreign university, the conditions should be right for them to return to Iran and serve their country. Everything must be prepared for them to return home after graduating abroad," Iran's deputy minister of science, research and technology noted.
In further remarks, Masoud Boroumand said in order for this to happen, we need good coordination between all government departments and ministries, appropriate legislation must be in place, in order to make everything ready for these graduates to start and transfer whatever knowledge they have learnt abroad.
He added that naturally what the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology does is to prepare the infrastructure, and provide the most modern and up-to-date research centres, institutes and universities so that Iranian researchers can work at the most advanced cutting-edge of science and technology.
