Iran news/ According to an Iran press report, speaking at Iran's national TV news channel (IRIB's channel 6) about the role of the 32nd International Islamic Unity Conference, and unity among the members of the Islamic Umma, Ayatollah Mohsen Araki, Secretary General of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought said that" the presence of prominent and influential figures, both from Iran and abroad, at this event indicates the failure of US coalition.
Referring to the latest edition of the event which is going to be kicked off on Saturday, the senior Iranian cleric went on to say that Iran as a Muslim country is on the verge of experiencing a new situation--Unity.
Ayatollah Araki while pointing out to Holy Quran's teaching that "The oppressed nation is the most powerful one", stressed the fact that "The victory will be for those nations who have been patient while resisting".
Emphasising on the very fact that the enemies feel danger and feel threatened by seeing the expansion and advancement of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ayatollah Araki described "Declaring Solidarity of Islamic countries as one of the goals of the Islamic Unity conference."
"US is trying to organise an anti-Iran current, through cooperation of Saudi Arabia and the Zionist Regime. However; Islamic Resistance movement is resisting against their aggression and intrusion", he continued.
Talking about the fact that some 300 guests are to take part in the event from the different countries, Ayatollah Araki said that" the Unity inspired dialogue has found and the different forms of manifestations and the representatives of the Islamic countries as the eloquent tongues of their nations of origin.
The top Iran's Islamic figure went on to say that the prominent figures in the fields of thoughts religion, art and literature all across the world are participating 32nd International Islamic Unity Conference on The Islamic Unity to say it loud that a liberal front has been created in the world, pivoting on the Islamic republic of Iran.
"Today the tables are turned and the intellectuals and the warriors against global arrogance have formed a united unit and this is considered as the great victory for the Islamic Republic of Iran", emphasized Ayatollah Araki.

The 32nd International Islamic Unity Conference on The Islamic Unity is going to be held in November 24-26, 2018 with the theme of "Quds the unity axis Of Islamic Umma". After the Islamic Republic of Iran announced this week as the “Islamic Unity Week”, it was decided to hold the Unity Conference. Until 1990, this conference was annually held by the “Islamic Propagation Organization”, which held the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th Conferences. Since 1990, when the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought (WFPIST) was established, the Conference is held by this Forum.
The aim of the Unity Conference is to lay the ground for unity and solidarity in the Islamic World and unison among scholars in order to achieve proximity among their scientific and cultural viewpoints in terms of fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence), Usul (principles of jurisprudence), Kaläm (Islamic theology), and interpretation; another objective of the Conference is to examine the Muslims’ problems, provide appropriate solutions to them, and take a joint stance against them.
The guests of the Conference are selected from among sophisticated dignitaries, ministers of the Islamic countries, Islamic scholars and muftis, professors of universities and other scientific and cultural associations both at the domestic and international levels.
So far, hundreds of scholars and reformers from around the world as well as thousands of Shia and Sunni thinkers from various parts of Iran have attended this Conference and delivered articles and speeches.
The academic staff of the Conference are selected from among scholars in universities and seminaries. 203/103.
