Iran press/Iran: Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei at this meeting, regarded the most important need of the Muslim World today as increased closeness and synergy among Islamic countries, stating: “Closeness and cooperation among Islamic countries will surely pave the ground for resolving the problems of our region; as a result, the Front of Arrogance, with the U.S. at its' top, is troubled by the cooperation and friendly relations among Islamic countries and the formation of an Islamic power.

Ayatollah Khamenei described the concern as the reason behind animosity of the U.S. towards powerful Islamic countries and added: “The Islamic Republic of Iran and Turkey are two powerful and dignified countries of the region and share the same motivations for the Muslim World; thus, political and economic relations between the two countries should expand.”
