Iran's Minister of Communications and Information Technology and his Azeri counterpart discussed Tehran-Baku cooperation in cyber security.

Iran pressIran news: During the meeting on the sidelines of International Telecommunication Union (ITU) in Dubai, Mohammad-Javad Azari Jahromi and Ramin Guliyev also discussed promotion of Iran-Azerbaijan collaboration in the fields of communications and post to the accompaniment of other regional states including Russia and Turkey.

According to IRNA, participation in implementation of regional projects, sharing experience, regulating radio frequencies on border areas, enhancement of cooperation in the field of aerospace and cooperation in field of Internet are among the other topics discussed by the two ministers.

Azerbaijan Republic’s Minister of Communications and High Technologies Guliyev referred to holding Bakutel 2018 Exhibition in Baku from December 4-7, saying that the event will provide a good opportunity for involvement of the two countries’ private sectors in the field of information and communications.

Jahromi, for his part, voiced Iran’s readiness for taking part in the exhibition. 101/202
