Yemen's Army and Popular Committees have aired video of downing a Saudi hostile Apache helicopter.

Iran PressMiddle East: Yemen's Army Spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Saree said in a brief statement on Friday morning that Yemeni air defense units, comprising of the army and popular committees, shot down a hostile Apache helicopter, belonging to the Saudi-led coalition in Asir.

He added that the helicopter was shot down in the Majaza area, Asir province while carrying out hostile actions. “It was completely burned and its two Saudi crew killed,” Almasirah Network reported.

The shootings come three months after the Yemeni Armed Forces unveiled two types of air defense systems, Fater1 and Thaqib1.
