Iran Press/Middle East: Head of Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Alireza Rashidian in a meeting with Saudi Arabia's Minister of Hajj, Mohammad Saleh bin Taher Benten, referring to the good cooperation that occurred relating to issuing of Iranian pilgrims' visas, said: "The issuing of visas is almost complete now, and there is no particular problem."
He also went on to say: "Estimates show that services in the Arafat and Mena suburbs, particularly equipped with tents with proper cooling systems, have improved and are in a better condition compared to the previous year" Iran Press reported.
Rashidian further called for effective action by Saudi Arabia's Minister of Hajj to pursue the legal case and prosecute those whose negligence and incompetence led to the martyrdom of so many people in the Masjid al-Haram crane-crashing incident and the Mena disaster, in September 2015.
He also said damages should be paid to the families of victims of Mena disaster and Masjid al-Haram (or the Grand Mosque of Mecca) crane-crashing incident.
In another part of his remarks, the head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization said: "To this end, one of our conditions is to preserve the dignity, esteem, and security of Iranian pilgrims." 101/211/216
