Tabriz (IP) - Dozens of houses and residential units were evacuated in Baghmisheh town near the city of Tabriz in northwestern Iran, the capital of East Azerbaijan Province, because of a landslide in the mountainous region.

Iran Press /Iran News: Landslides in Tabriz's Baghmisheh town began on Tuesday morning and it is  still continuing.

About 100 residential units were evacuated on orders of officials at the East Azarbaijan crisis management centre. Experts are at the scene of the landslide  in Baghmisheh, near Tabriz, closely monitoring the situation.

According to an Iran Press report, the incident has not caused significant financial loss and no casualties have been reported.
