Iran Press/ Iran news: Addressing senior diplomats and officials at the foreign ministry in Tehran on Tuesday President Hassan Rouhani said: "Peace for peace, oil for oil, strait for a strait and security for security."
Iranian President made the remark at the Foreign Ministry building on Tuesday.
The comment was a reference to the impounding of an Iranian supertanker in the Strait of Gibraltar by Britain's Royal Navy on 4 July, and the subsequent impounding of a British tanker, the Stena Impero, by Iran's Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) in the Strait of Hormuz.
