Iran Press/Iran news: The US thinks that by applying sanctions, Iranian people will turn their backs to the Islamic republic," Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said in his meeting with Foreign Ministry officials.
Iranian President made the remark at the Foreign Ministry building on Tuesday.
"JCPOA proved that Iran is into logics and negotiation and our enemies lie about Iran's plans for improving nuclear bomb," Rouhani added.
"Constructive and extended interaction with the world is the nation's will and vote and Iran's foreign ministry has always been the most active department to make this goal come true," He added.
As long as Article 6 of Iran's Constitution is in force, US pressures and sanctions on the Iranian nation to make the nation turn their backs to the Islamic Republic will be ineffective, Rouhani stressed.
According to article 6 of Iran's Constitution, officials in any position reached it by the people's vote directly or indirectly.
Appreciating Zarif's services at Iranian Foreign Ministery, Rouhani came on to say that Iran's Foreign Minister is a political elite in addition to his many talents and experience.
"The Foreign Ministery is a specialized department and it is the Islamic Republic's system trustee," he added.
