Hamedan (IP) - Ganj Nameh is located 5 km southwest of Hamedan in western Iran. The Cultural-historic city of Hamedan is believed to be among the oldest Iranian cities. The city was called Hegmataneh more than 2000 years ago during the era of the Medes.

Iran Press/ Iran news: Thanks to the presence of various historic and cultural heritage sites, Hamedan is one of the main touristic cities in western Iran.

Tomb of Avicenna, tomb of famous poet Baba Taher, Ali-Sadr cave, and Ganj Nameh are a few examples of Hamedan's historical, artistic and cultural tourist attraction sites, with each hosting many tourists from Iran and from across the world, reported Iran Press.
