Iran Press/Iran news: The secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, Admiral Ali Shamkhani made the remark in a Tuesday meeting with Saleh al-Arouri, the Deputy Chairman of the Political Bureau of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas). Shamkhani said: “Our support for the Palestinian cause is based on the principles of the Islamic Revolution and Iran will continue this assistance until the final and complete victory of the resistance movement over the Zionist regime.”
According to an Iran Press report, Shamkhani also referred to the American-Zionist ‘Deal of the Century’ plan, stressing that the scheme has already failed and it cannot be implemented.
The secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council added: “The power of the Zionist regime and its allies is declining and they are in a weak position. The fake schemes which are in contrast to the solid will of the Palestinian nation will certainly fail.”
Al-Arouri, for his part, thanked Iran for its support of the Palestinian cause, saying: “The Palestinian nation doesn’t fear Zionist threats, and with the support of independent nations, Palestinians will stand against and resist the Zionist occupation.”
