PYD member: the US has stabbed Kurds in their back
The member of the Democratic Union Party (PYD) political bureau in Syria Mahmoud Saber said on Thursday that the US h stabbed Kurds in their back, calling on the International community to react properly against Turkish military operation.
Iran Press/Asia: The member of the Democratic Union Party (PYD) political bureau in Syria Mahmoud Saber said on Thursday that the US has deceived the Kurds and through so-called supporting of them, could successfully separate the Syrian government and the Kurds and in fact stabbed Kurds in their back Saber called on the International community to react properly against Turkish military operation, reported Iran press.
The PYD member highlighted Turkish attack on Syria is not in conformity with any international treaty or law and it is not confirmed by any international body, either. Elsewhere Saber stressed that Turkish attack on Northern Syria serves as waging the war and creation of instability in the region."
He also emphasized to conclude that the Syrian government should go after it until Turkey would have to pull its forces out of Syria and implement them in the border areas.
On the very same day, the Syrian Democratic Forces spokesperson says group's fighters repelled a ground attack in Tal Abyad while the Turkish military said it had 181 Kurdish militia targets with its air force and artillery since the start of the operation.
Meanwhile, Turkey claims that the main goal of the operation is to create a "safe zone" over an area about 30 kilometers (20 miles) deep and stretching about 120 kilometers along the border between Ras al-Ain and Tal Abyad.
