Iran Press/Asia: The two missiles launched on Wednesday from Wonsan area flew 155 miles and before exploding in the East China Sea reached a height of 30 Kilometres.
It was the second such launch in a week. Last week's launch was the first such provocation since US President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un met on June 2019.
A solemn warning was the message of Pyongyang to Seoul over its planned joint military exercises with Washington, the BBC reported.
“We cannot but develop nonstop super-powerful weapon systems to remove the potential and direct threats to the security of our country that exist in the south,” Kim said on Friday, according to the official North Korean KCNA news agency.
The country's most recent test was on 9 May, a pair of missiles timed precisely 9 minutes before and 9 minutes after a US test of a nuclear Minuteman III intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) to send a message to Washington. 101/211/215
