Asia: He made the remarks on Thursday on the sideline of the 11th plenary session of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly (APA) in Istanbul, Turkey, Iran Press reported.
Larijani called the cooperation of these four countries as a “successful” example, adding that this model can be applied to other economic, political, and security issues of Asia.
Regarding the APA, he said that Iran was among founders of this body and gradually other Asian countries joined it to the point that today most of the parliaments of Asian countries are a member of APA.
Also, he pointed to the plans for holding the next year’s Asian Parliamentary Assembly in Iran.

Larijani met and held talks with Leonid Slutsky, Chairman of the Russian Duma's Foreign Affairs Committee on the sidelines of the 11th plenary session of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly (APA).
During the meeting, the two sides stressed cooperation in various political and economic fields and reviewed the road map for the operationalization of construction projects.
Chairman of the Russian Duma's Foreign Affairs Committee said the two countries are able to solve all the issues with cooperation, adding that holding the Parliamentary Conference of Eurasian countries in Tehran proves Iran is a peace-loving country.
He noted that Russia will send high-ranking delegation to participate in the second Parliamentary Conference of Eurasian countries in Iran.
Iran's Majlis speaker also met his Turkish counterpart Binali Yildirim who is the current Speaker of the Grand National Assembly. The two sides discussed the latest regional developments.
The 11th plenary session of APA kicked off on Wednesday in Istanbul, Turkey, and it will continue until December 3. The Asian Parliamentary Assembly (APA) was born in 2006 at the Seventh Session of the Association of Asian Parliamentary for Peace (AAPP).
