After opening a number of projects in Kermanshah Province, President Hassan Rouhani visited Darreh Jaleh village, a quake-hit village that was rebuilt, and talked with the people in a cordial atmosphere.

Iran Press/Iran news: Speaking with the people of the village,  Rouhani said, “Today, we are happy that your village has been rebuilt.”

“You are very pious people who have defended the country’s borders during the 8-year war, and are our best border guards today,” he said according to Iran Press.

He continued, “Today, we opened the greatest water project in the history of Iran just outside your village, and this means that a bright future awaits you and this region.”

The President went on to describe the governor general of Kermanshah Province a very hard-working man and said, “I hope that you continue defending our dear Iran with the help of all Iranians”.

On requests to deliver gas to the village, he said, “We will definitely deliver gas to this region and the government is at your service.” 101/202
