US Vice President, Mike Pence, has said Donald Trump's decision to withdraw Washington from the internationally accepted Iran nuclear deal was related to Israel.

Iran Press/America: Speaking at the Israeli-American Council conference in Hollywood, South Florida on Friday, US Vice President, Mike Pence noted Donald Trump’s Israel-related actions, including moving the US embassy to Al-Quds-Jerusalem and pulling out of the 2015 Iran nuclear deal.

Emphasizing Washington's support for the Zionist regime, Mike Pence added: “America stands with Israel. You have a champion in President Donald Trump. In May of this year, the United States of America opened our embassy in Jerusalem - the capital of the State of Israel,” Iran Press reported.

While the United Nations' nuclear watchdog confirms Iran's full compliance with its end of the 2015 multinational nuclear deal, despite the US's internationally-criticized withdrawal from the landmark accord, Mike Pence said, “The United States of America will never allow Iran to obtain a nuclear weapon.”

On 22 November, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, Yukiya Amano, told board members Iran continues to abide by the nuclear deal reached in 2015.

He reiterated the agency's findings in a report distributed to member states earlier this month that "Iran is implementing its nuclear-related commitments under the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA)."

The issue has grown more complicated since the US withdrew unilaterally in May from the deal and then re-imposed sanctions. Iran's economy has been struggling ever since, and the country is not benefiting from the JCPOA, as it should, because of re-imposition of unilateral US sanctions.

Meanwhile, the United States has frequently threatened military action against Iran, saying military action is possible if US sanctions against Tehran fail.

Speaking at a press conference at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling in Washington D.C. on Thursday, US special representative for Iran, Brian Hook said the military option is on the table, but our preference is to use all of the tools that are at our disposal diplomatically.
